A McKeesport man has been charged with carrying a firearm while allegedly knowing that his concealed carry permit was revoked.
Jared Abraham Ogrosky, 21, of Bowman Avenue was charged Sunday with carrying a firearm without a license, prohibited acts and two counts of possession.
McKeesport police were dispatched shortly after noon Sunday to the 1100 block of McCleary Street after receiving reports of several shots fired. The officers searched around the neighborhood for any suspects or victims, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
Officer Ilja Tubin observed two males walking at a fast pace with hoods over their heads off Jersey Street onto Ohio Street. Tubin and other officers approached the men to ask if they had seen anyone shooting a gun, the affidavit states.
