Grandey’s two-homer day leads Eagles past Raiders

An 11-run sixth inning helped catapult Serra Catholic past Riverview, 15-9, in Section 2-2A play Wednesday afternoon.
The big frame came as the Eagles (1-0, 1-0) were trailing 5-3.
Nina Grandey led the 10-hit attack with three hits, including a pair of home runs. She also drove in a team-high five runs. Isabella Countryman finished with two hits and Maddie Carr and Elizabeth Quattrone each drove in a pair of runs.
Alyssa Capp had three hits and Kate Davis had two for Riverview (0-1, 0-1). Capp hit a home run and drove in a pair of runs. Davis and Annie Betler drove in three and two runs, respectively.
