Rams look to benefit from drop to 4A

Looking back at last season, Ringgold softball coach Gregg Adams did not mince his words.
“We were 4-9 and not happy about it,” Adams said. “Not happy at all.”
The Rams struggled in Class 5A in 2018 and this year Ringgold has dropped back to Class 4A.
Of course, dropping down comes with a price.
Other teams in Section 2 4A include Thomas Jefferson, defending WPIAL 4A champion Belle Vernon Area, WPIAL 4A runner-up Elizabeth Forward, McKeesport and West Mifflin.
