A Mon Valley Sewage Authority Board member has pleaded guilty to defrauding a retired teacher.
Yancey Taylor, 47, of Fifth Street, Donora, appeared Friday before President Judge Dennis E. Reinaker in Lancaster County Court.
He entered a guilty plea to one count each of theft by deception – false impression and theft by extortion – inflicting harm which does not benefit the actor.
Reinaker sentenced Taylor to a total of 14 years probation — seven years for each count — to run consecutively.
