The Charleroi Area School District Education Foundation is preparing for the sixth volume of the group’s biggest fundraiser.
A Blast from the Past Volume VI, scheduled for April 12 in the Charleroi Area High School auditorium, will feature a vintage car show and oldies tunes from across the decades.
The event will begin at 5 p.m. with a classic car show and DJ, weather permitting.
As a nod to the former Dog House in Belle Vernon, such classic drive-in restaurant favorites will be available as hamburgers, hotdogs and french fries.
Proceeds from the fundraiser, including 50/50 raffles and gift basket auctions, will benefit Charleroi Area students.
Auditorium doors will open at 6 p.m.
At 7 p.m., radio oldies disc jockey Frankie Day will introduce the opening acts: Charleroi High School Show Choir and The Bloomfield Boys.
The headline act, Johnny Angel and the Halos, will take the stage around 8:30 p.m.
