Optimism high for experienced Charleroi squad

Charleroi senior Katie Reed returns as the Cougars’ starting catcher this season.

Trey Tilghman saw good and bad with his Charleroi softball team a year ago.
The bad was an overall 2-10 record.
The good was those two wins came in the final two games of the season.
When you add in the fact that the Cougars have dropped from Class 3A to 2A and Tilghman returns most of his starters, there is reason to see why he is looking forward to his sixth season running the program.
