Louise Jurik – Donora

Louise Jurik, 89, of Donora passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019, in Mon Valley Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Donora on Aug. 16, 1929, Louise was the daughter of the late Asa and Mary Abraham Moses. Louise was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Church in Donora. Louise retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an auditor before becoming a realtor in the Mon Valley area. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by Cyril Jurik Jr. in 2011; two sisters, Mary Kelly and Julia Marynchak; and three brothers, Samuel, John and James Moses. Survivors include her two daughters, Nancy Jurik Ferber and her husband Stephen of Gibsonia, Pa., and Susan Jurik of Wexford, Pa.; a son, William Jurik of Miami, Fla.; a granddaughter, Morgan Taylor Ferber of West Virginia; a sister, Florence Neil of Pittsburgh; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VISITATION. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of the Valley Church in Donora at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019. Please arrive at the church at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L.
