Mon Valley Sewage investigation pending

An investigation led by the Washington County District Attorney’s Office could soon begin at Mon Valley Sewage Authority. 

During a meeting last week, board member Yancey Taylor addressed the board after an executive session concerning the resignation of a recent employee.

Authority Solicitor Aaron Bialon said an unidentified employee filed for unpaid leave in December and then resigned effective Jan. 2 in a move that was approved by board members at a January meeting. 

Following the resignation, Bialon said the employee’s personnel file could not be located.
