Mildred Vagli – Monroeville

Mildred Vagli, 95, of Monroeville, formerly of Monessen died Wednesday Feb. 27, 2019, at her residence. She was born on Feb. 23, 1924, in McKees Rocks, the daughter of the late Matthew and Mary Muzich Popovich. Mildred attended Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf and retired from the U.S. Postal Service having worked at their Pittsburgh Northside office. Mildred was a member of Pittsburgh Association of the Deaf Senior Citizens and the Pennsylvania Society for the Advancement of the Deaf. She is survived by two sisters, Norma Fazio of Venice, Fla., Natalie Popovich of Coraopolis; a sister-in-law, Rosemary Hans, and her family, of Monessen; and by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Vagli. Friends will be received in DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen, from 11 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 23, 2019, with noon the time of memorial service with the Rev. Michael Crookston officiating. She will be interred next to her husband in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen. Condolences accepted for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
