BVA Charitable Fund unveils new logo

By Mon Valley Independent

For the Mon Valley Independent

The Belle Vernon Area Charitable Fund is introducing a unique logo to promote the identity of the nonprofit organization.

It represents the work of three students in the school’s graphic design and marketing class and their instructor, Matthew Horzempa.

The logo utilizes school colors and the iconic Leopard mascot, infusing them with a helping hand symbolizing “global reach” to represent the purpose of gift giving and participation in the school community.

Students Khyree Clark and Damani Johnson, both juniors, and Zach Powell, a sophomore, spent time during class and before and after school to develop, tweak and produce the logo utilizing Adobe Illustrator.
