The Finleyville Food Pantry is hoping its “family” will rally together to help find a new permanent home.
The food pantry is currently located at First Presbyterian Church in Finleyville, where it has served residents throughout Washington County for the last two decades.
However, food pantry coordinator Pat Trumpie would like to move the operation a few blocks away to 3500 Extension Ave., currently the location of KeyBank, which will close May 3 as part of a branch consolidation.
She said the current location is expensive at about $700 a month and is unsafe for residents who use their service.
