Local stars to compete in Roundball Classic

Eleven local seniors were named to rosters for the Roundball Classic all-star game being held April 12 and 13 at Geneva College.

Seven boys and four girls will compete in the annual event, which will consist of seven games over two days.

The local boys participants are Elijahwa Payne (Monessen), Jimmy Moon and Bernard Lawson (Serra Catholic), Christian Moore (McKeesport), J.J. Green (Beth-Center), Justin Novak (Frazier) and Jaden Taylor (Ringgold).

Girls representatives are Gigi Mele-Madigan (Serra Catholic), Brooke Poling (Frazier), Lindsay Steeber (Belle Vernon Area) and Bri Spirnak (Elizabeth Forward).
