Four area CEOs went back to school Tuesday, sharing their wisdom with students at Elizabeth Forward Middle School.

As part of a program through The Allegheny Conference on Community Development and the Grabel Foundation, about 30 CEOs and C-Suite leaders from area organizations shadowed students in seven school districts.

Gregg Behr, Executive Director of The Grable Foundation; Bill Demchak, President and CEO of PNC Financial Services; David Malone, CEO of Gateway Financial Group; and Stefani Pashman, CEO of Allegheny Conference on Community Development, shadowed four students’ schedules, including gym and chorus classes, until the final bell of the day.

As prepared as they could be, the businessmen and women went into the day without knowing what to expect, but left impressed.
