The Serra Catholic boys basketball team had a little trouble getting to their PIAA first-round contest against Penns Manor Saturday.
Unfortunately for the Comets, the No. 4 seed out of District 5, even a broken down bus didn’t stop the Eagles from arriving at Peters Township.
Jimmy Moon scored a game-high 33 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and finished with eight blocks as the Eagles were the team that played out of this world, hammering the Comets, 79-44, to advance to the second round.
