Rams making long trek for PIAA playoff opener
By JEFF OLIVER
For the MV Independent
There is good news and bad news for Ringgold going into Friday’s PIAA 4A first round playoff game against Bishop McDevitt.
The good news is the last time the Rams bussed this far for a basketball game was in 1995 when they won a state championship.
The bad news is this game is not for the title.
Still, Ringgold (14-9) will be making a 183-mile trek one way to Central Dauphin East High School for the 6:30 p.m. game against the District 3 champion Crusaders (22-3).
