Cherie Nogy Perlmutter – Stillwater, Minn., formerly of Belle Vernon

Cherie Nogy Perlmutter, 79, of Stillwater, Minn., formerly of Belle Vernon, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, in the University of Minnesota Medical Center, after a short illness. Cherie was a valued leader serving as part of the UMN Medical Center and Academic Health Center executive team from 1973 until her retirement in 2004. During her career, she received the Weaver Medal for her support of the College of Pharmacy. She was a cherished friend and inspiration to countless people. Cherie was the daughter of the late Walter Nogy and Wilma Matthews Nogy and born in Belle Vernon, on April 27, 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irving Perlmutter. She is survived by a son, James O. Miller; sister, Joan S. McCloskey; and brother, Walter B. Nogy. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon.
