David J. Roberts, 64, of Charleroi, died Saturday, March 2, 2019, in AHN Jefferson Hospital. Born in North Charleroi on Oct. 16, 1954, he was the son of the late Alfred and Genevieve “Jennie” Danko Roberts. David was a 1972 Graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School. An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed going to Potter County, Bedford County and West Virginia. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1972 to 1976. He is survived by his children, Melanie Mullins of York, Pa., Ryan Keith of Belle Vernon, Stephanie Roberts of White Oak, Megan Heckman (Zach Jupin) of Belle Vernon, and Jessica Roberts (Matt Bane) of Donora; and grandchildren, Christopher and Cierra Eckenrode and Robert, Jonathan and MacKenzie Keith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Alfred Jr. and Chuckie; and sister, Rosetta. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
