Donora Historical Society is gearing up for its third annual Eldora Park Walking Tour later this month.
Eldora Park was a trolley park that sat a little bit off of modern-day Black Diamond Hollow and Trolley roads, which are off of Route 837 in Carroll Township.
Donora Smog Museum archivist and curator Brian Charlton has said some of the ruins of the park can be seen by those hiking in what is now a wooded area.
The old brick road that led to the entrance, the dance pavilion’s foundation and some light fixtures attached to trees can be found.
