Donella ‘Donna’ Kraft – Venice, Fla., formerly of North Belle Vernon

Donella “Donna” Kraft, 79, of Venice, Fla., formerly of North Belle Vernon, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019, in Venice, Fla. A daughter of the late William and Ruth Hency Roe, she was born in Rostraver Township on Oct. 8, 1939. A former member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Donna had been an elementary teacher at St. Philomena Roman Catholic School in Squirrel Hill and was a 1978 California University graduate. She owned and operated a flower and craft store, Donna’s Weed Barn, in Somerset from 1990 to 2000. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Dan R. Kraft; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey L. and Jennifer Kraft of Clovis, N.M., and Scott R. and Donna Kraft of Easton, Pa.; four grandchildren, Jennifer L. (Warren) Wood, Alex D. Kraft, Sarah M. Kraft and Lindsay M. Kraft; and a sister, Reda Holt of Rostraver Township. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene R. Roe and Wade V. Roe. There will be no public visitation or services. Entombment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
