Corinne Mae Kirkpatrick – Charleroi

Corinne Mae Kirkpatrick, age 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019, surrounded by family and friends. She was born April 21, 1931, and spent her childhood in Donora before moving to Fallowfield Township as an adult. Corinne is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, George H. Kirkpatrick; her parents, Charles and Mary Cross; her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Gloria Cross of Ohio; and her daughter-in-law, Beth Kitch, also of Ohio. She is survived by her three children, Larry Kirkpatirck of Ohio, Cathy Seighman of North Charleroi, and Dean (Deanne) Kirkpatrick of Arizona; her sister, Shirley (Fred) Metz of Fellsburg; her four grandchildren, Jennifer (Clay)Swango of Bethel Park, Abby Kirkpatrick of Ohio and Everly and Kieran Kirkpatrick of Arizona; two great-grandchildren, Clay and Cole Swango of Bethel Park; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members. Corinne was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Charleroi. She was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Stars, Donora Chapter and even serving as Worthy Grand Matron for a time. Corinne is presently a member of the Monessen Chapter 205, Order of the Eastern Star. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Interment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery. The Order of Eastern Stars will conduct their memorial services at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1000 Liberty Ave., Ste. E 201, Pittsburgh, Pa 15222.
