The cast of this year’s Charleroi Area High School musical is getting ready to go on an adventure — to Neverland.

When the curtain rises at 7 p.m. Friday for the opening night of “Peter Pan,” audience members will find themselves on a musical adventure with Peter Pan, Tiinkerbell, Wendy, Captain Hook, The Lost Boys and the rest of the charismatic crew.

Going along with the traditional storyline, Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell, visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night and with a sprinkle of pixie dust, begin a magical journey across the stars that none of them will ever forget.

Director Melissa Vitali said “Peter Pan” was the perfect show to get more students involved because of a large number of speaking parts and other opportunities.
