White Oak borough engineer Ken Hillman provided an update on two ongoing projects at the borough-owned Heritage Hill Pool complex.
Council unanimously voted to make a $29,966.40 payment to Washington-based Tennis Roofing Inc. for work done on the bathhouse/pool roof replacement project.
In September, council approved a $121,695 contract for Tennis Roofing to replace the roof after borough Manager John Palyo informed council over the summer that the 1970s-era flat asphalt roof had drainage issues and holes in several places, including above the locker rooms and the concession area.
Tennis Roofing began work at the beginning of this year. In addition to replacing the roof, the building’s soffit and siding are being replaced.
