Norma Rolison – Mapleview

Norma Rolison, 90, of Mapleview, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019. She was born Dec. 16, 1928, in Aliquippa, a daughter of the late Frank and Anna Amatangelo DiRocco. Mrs. Rolison was a homemaker and an integral part of the Presbyterian Church of Charleroi. She was a member of the church session and belonged to the Women’s Christian Circle. She fell in love with the love of her life, G. Howard Rolison, and the two shared 50 years of marital bliss and harmony, cherishing one another and doting on each of the three girls they brought into this world. She is survived by her two daughters, Kathy Lynn Hega and her husband Steve of North Charleroi and Robyn Anne Rolison Hanna and her husband Albert A. Hanna of Rostraver Township. She is also survived by three sisters: Dorothy Paterline of Charleroi, Irene Orsini of South Berwick, Maine, and JoAnn Cheney of Baltimore, Md.; and her five grandchildren, Morgan Samantha Burt and her husband Chris, Zachery Rolison Neil and his wife Megan, Rachel Elizabeth Karelli and her husband Jason, Stephen Baptist Hega and Nathan Rolison Hega and his wife Aly; four great-grandchildren, Anthony Joseph Karelli, Luca Dominic Karelli, Brayden Robert Neil and Conner Joseph Neil. In addition to her parents, Norma Rolison was preceded in death, on July 29, 2001, by her husband of 50 years; her daughter, Cynthia Rolison Neil; and her brother, Arthur DiRocco. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME, 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Charleroi Presbyterian Church, Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Relatives and friends attending the funeral services are asked to go directly to the church. Interment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery.
