California borough officially has a new police chief, who says the people of the borough will get used to seeing his face.
Chief Timothy Sheehan, who was sworn in last week, has been a police officer for the past 26 years.
“This is an accomplishment for me,” he said. “I worked my way up through different ranks and things over all of these years and it is nice to have the reward. I can’t get a higher position here. It was a lot of hard work, but I am glad to be here.”
Sheehan started his career as a part-time officer in Masontown. He has been a full-time officer in California for the past 10 years, but started working for the department as a part-timer two years prior to that.
