Ringgold hoping long wait pays off

In Phil Pergola’s first stint as basketball coach at Ringgold, the Rams were known for having one of the deepest hoops traditions in the WPIAL, especially after the Rams won a PIAA title in 1995.
His second time around hasn’t had as much of a splash.
In fact, the last time Ringgold made it to the playoffs was the 2010-11 season when they went 1-1 in the tournament.
Pergola has two simple reasons to explain the Rams’ drought before this year.
