Shortly after roaming the sideline during his team’s 59-29 WPIAL first round victory over Sto-Rox Friday night, Serra Catholic head coach Bill Cleary took a seat in the stands at Peters Township High School.
The veteran coach did so in order to watch a matchup that he had a vested interest in as fourth-seeded Our Lady of Sacred Heart defeated Burgettstown to advance to the next round of the WPIAL playoffs.
Cleary did his share of observing and scouting to prepare for tonight’s Class 2A quarterfinal matchup between his fifth-seeded Eagles (18-4) and the Chargers (18-4) at Canon-McMillan.
