BVA loses three board members

Audience members at Tuesday’s Belle Vernon Area school board meeting were stunned as board President Lou Rood announced that three directors had submitted letters of resignation.
Gasps were heard, along with comments such as “Wow” and “I don’t think anyone saw that coming.”
Directors Aaron Bialon, John M. Nusser Jr. and Daniel Sepesky all stepped down before the meeting and none of them attended.
Rood and directors Joe Grata, Michelle Callaway-Rodriguez, Kathleen Forte, Joel Whiteko and Gloria Yuschak unanimously accepted their resignations at the voting work session agenda meeting.
