Bonnie E. Brown, 93, of Monongahela, passed away peacefully on Feb. 16, 2019, at Mt. Macrina Manor, Uniontown, after a struggle with COPD. Born June 19, 1925, in Athens County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William McKinley Fisher and Faye Pansy Cook. She was a longtime resident of The Residence at Hilltop in Monongahela. They were lifelong Steelers fans with season tickets until they moved to Hawaii. She was preceded in death by her son, Vernon Jr., who was killed in an automobile accident in 1965. Her husband passed in December of 1999, in Maui, Hawaii. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Faye Brown of New York; a sister, Velva Duckworth of Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends will be received at FRYE FUNERAL HOME, 427 W.
