EF’s Benedek signs with Red Flash

After losing 15 seniors to graduation, the Elizabeth Forward football team defied the odds in 2018.
The Warriors went 8-2 overall and 7-1 in Class 3A’s Big East Conference, claiming their second consecutive conference championship and making a return trip to the WPIAL playoffs.
The Warriors won and lost as a team, but the leadership of veteran quarterback Zach Benedek was a big reason why the losses were few and far between.
