Louis R. Tatsch Jr., 77, of Sheffield Village, entered into rest Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019. Mr. Tatsch was born and raised in Monessen, son of the late Louis and Mary Jane (nee – Armiger) Tatsch and moved to Ohio in 1964. He worked for Argenti Auto Body until retirement, at which time he helped at DaVinci Collision and Customs. Mr. Tatsch was a member of VFW Post 8686 in Sheffield Lake and Knights of Columbus in Lorain. He enjoyed listening to Cleveland Indians games, entertaining with his family and friends and loved to travel. He is survived by one son, Louis R. Tatsch III; three daughters, Tracie (Lonnie) Hall, Mary “Betsy” Fields and Melissa Kinlin; seven grandchildren, Tony, Stephanie (Brad), Jim, Kyle, Connor, Logan and Juliette; five great-grandchildren, Haylee, Mackenzie, Marley, Ryilee and Ryder; two brothers, Jeff (Diane) Tatsch and Marty Tatsch; and two sisters, Patti Gogal and Verene (Chuck) Schaming. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (nee – Randall) Tatsch; and two brothers, Jim and Edward. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at MISENCIK FUNERAL HOME, 36363 Detroit Road, Avon, Ohio. Closing prayers are set for 10:15 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, followed by an 11 a.m. Mass at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1878 Abbe Road, Sheffield Village. Interment will follow in St. Teresa Cemetery.
