Moon’s 29 & 20 lead Eagles over Jayhawks

In the few games since his team locked up the Section 2-2A title with a win over California on Jan. 29, Serra Catholic head coach Justin Walther has noticed a lack of focus.

While they were getting the job done in those games, the Eagles didn’t come out with emotion, according to the third-year coach.

Serra Catholic’s latest game was different.

Walther’s focused squad capped off the regular season with a perfect 12-0 Section 2-2A record for the first time in 11 seasons with a 72-61 victory at Jeannette.
