Jay Earl Clark Sr. – North Charleroi

Jay Earl Clark Sr., 81, of North Charleroi, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. He was born May 6, 1937, in Fallowfield Township, the son of the late Frank E. Clark and Dolly Jacobs Hagerty. He served in the United States Army. Jay was employed at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Monessen Plant, and was a former North Charleroi Street Commissioner. He was a member of the Centerville American Legion Post 705 and a member of the National Pike, Steam, Gas and Horses Association. Jay is survived by his wife, Cececlia “Sis” Simala Clark; his son, Jay E. Clark Jr., and wife Rita of Fallowfield Township; sister, Linda Bove of Peters Township; two stepsisters, Donna Boulanger of Charleroi and Patti Truskey of Long Branch; a brother, William Hagerty and wife Joanne of Omaha, Neb.; granddaughter, Cassi; and two great-granddaughters, Cececlia Clark and Jay Lee Clark; and also survived by nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jay was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Redding; and two brothers, Gary and Kirby Clark. There will be no public visitation.
