Smith hits 1K in Eagles blowout win

Khalil Smith reached the 1,000 point mark in Serra Catholic’s 72-32 rout of Brentwood in Section 2-2A play Tuesday night.
Smith finished with a game-high 26 points to achieve the historic milestone as Serra Catholic (16-3, 11-0) took a 40-9 lead into halftime and outscored Brentwood, 32-23, in the second half.
Jimmy Moon scored 17 points and added 18 boards, while Jayden Bristol chipped in with 11 points.
CJ Ziegler poured in 11 points to lead Brentwood (10-9, 6-6).
