Nancy C. Smock – Newell

Nancy C. Smock, loving wife, mother and grandmother, 81, of Newell, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2019, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born Jan. 5, 1938, in North Charleroi, daughter of John C. Garee and Mary Elizabeth White Garee. She was a member of the Newell United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William M Smock Sr.; three children, son, William M Smock Jr. and wife Tracy, daughter, Nancy C Kosisky and husband Bob, son, David J Smock; two grandchildren, Blaise M. Smock and Sara E. Boling and husband Josh. She was preceded in death by her parents, John C. Garee and mother, Mary Elizabeth White Garee. Committal Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, at LaFayette Memorial Park, Chapel of Peace, with Pastor Robert Rabenstein officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the ELEY/MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., Fayette City, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com.
