Mon Valley Pipeline: Cash trending up at Southern Methodist

As the winter sports season hits its stride in the college ranks, a few local players had standout performances in recent days.
Former McKeesport Tiger and current forward at Southern Methodist University, Johnasia Cash, has scored 43 points over her last five games.
The Mustangs currently sit at 8-12 overall and 2-5 in the American Athletic Conference.
Cash, a sophomore, finished with 14 points in the Mustangs’ 72-61 loss to Houston. She added 11 points in a loss against then-No. 2 Connecticut.
