Man accused of raping 9-year-old

An arrest warrant was issued Friday for a Carmichaels man accused of raping a 9-year-old girl in a Belle Vernon borough residence.
Donald Ray Huffman II, 29, of Old Waynesburg Road was charged with rape of a child, sexual assault and indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age.
State police began investigating reports of suspected child abuse Nov. 7, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
The victim told police that, a few days before her 10th birthday several years ago, she woke up around 1 a.m. to find Huffman’s hand in her pants. Despite screaming and trying to fight to get away, he allegedly still “forced her to do stuff,” the affidavit states.
