Due to inclement weather, several local boys and girls basketball games originally scheduled for Friday have been rescheduled for this afternoon and early this week.

In boys’ Section 1-5A, McKeesport will face Woodland Hills at 12:30 p.m. today at the Neenie Campbell Gymnasium. A Section 3-4A girls basketball showdown between the Tigers and Belle Vernon Area will follow at 2 p.m.

The McKeesport girls can clinch a playoff spot with a win today.

Other boys matchups set for today are a 1:30 p.m. Section 2-A battle between Monessen and Avella, a 2:30 p.m. tipoff between Section 3-4A foes Ringgold and Belle Vernon Area and a Section 2-2A matchup between California and Brentwood scheduled for 4 p.m.
