Raymond R. Coughanour – Rostraver Township

Raymond R. Coughanour, 88, of Rostraver Township, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019. Born in Fayette City on Jan. 8, 1931, he was the son of the late Hugh E. and Erma L. Anderson Coughanour. Ray was a retired Mechanic Foreman for US Airways. He was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church where he served as a trustee and on the deaconate board. He was also a member of Olive Branch Cemetery board, Rostraver Historical Society and was master of Rostraver Grange No. 919 for over 40 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Helen E. Tawney Coughanour; son, Ronald R. Coughanour of Port Orange, Fla.; daughter, Kimberly S. (David) Beechler of Port Orange, Fla.; and granddaughter, Carolyn N. Martin of Port Orange, Fla. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Joseph Kuma. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. D. W. Norton officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery.
