Taylor returns home with Golden Eagles

Back when he was flying through the air and burning the nets in the comfy confines of the California Area gymnasium, Kass Taylor dreamed of one day doing the same for the men’s basketball team at nearby California University.

During his senior season at California in 2017, he averaged close to 20 points and eight rebounds per game for the Trojans. Taylor received interest from the Vulcans, but an offer never came.

He ended up taking his talents north to Clarion University where he redshirted last season.

Tonight, the 6-5 Taylor will finally get his wish to play collegiate basketball on the Cal U hardwood at the Convocation Center when the Golden Eagles (4-12, 2-10) visit the Vulcans (6-12, 4-8) for a PSAC West contest.
