Residents in California area without water Monday
Residents in California and surrounding areas were without water Monday morning as Pennsylvania American Water crews made emergency repairs on a leaking water main in Brownsville.
Customers along Water Street, Short Street, Apple Street, Sugar Street, Peach Street, Federal Street, Back Street, Third Street, Spring Street, School Street, Green Street, Poplar Drive, Pike Run Drive and Harrison Road experienced no water, discolored water and low water pressure as a result.
A water tanker stationed at 103 Spring St. supplied water to those in need.
Water was expected to be restored by late Monday night.
