BVA battles over absent director

To gavel or not to gavel? 

That’s the question Belle Vernon Area School Board President Lou Rood will ask himself when a meeting turns tumultuous. 

On Monday, board Director John Nusser commended Rood for his “aggressive gaveling” of an argument between directors Dan Sepesky and Gloria Yuschak. 

However, Nusser said he felt Rood failed to gavel “those individuals making potential baseless claims without knowing full facts.”
