Alliance mini-grant goes to Jr. Stage Band

The Mon Valley Academy for the Arts Twin Coaches Jr. Stage Band is the most recent beneficiary of a mini-grant from the Mon Valley Alliance.
The $250 Town to Town grants are awarded monthly through a rolling application process.
Funds will be used for matching band shirts and a banner that will help brand and identify the 17-piece youth orchestra. The junior stage band performs at MVAA community events throughout each the year.
“It is important to support local art programs such as the MVAA which is vital to the cultural enrichment of our communities,” said alliance office manager Kelly Ellin.
