A Charleroi man accused of entering a Washington Avenue residence earlier this month and waving a machete has been ordered to stand trial in Washington County Court.

Prince Peters, 32, was held for court on charges of three counts each of aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and harassment following a preliminary hearing Thursday before Magisterial District Judge Larry Hopkins in Charleroi.

He returned to Washington County Correctional Facility in lieu of $150,000 bond.

Charleroi Regional Police were called to the residence on Washington Avenue on Jan 12 for a man threatening people in a home after being accused of sexually assaulting a minor.
