Jeannetta F. Turner – Coal Center

Jeannetta F. Turner, 87, of Coal Center, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, in Dunlevy Gardens Personal Care Home. A daughter of the late Ezra and Evelyn Baldridge Roberts, she was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on July 22, 1931. A former member of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene, she had resided in Milwaukee, Wis., from 1980 thru 1986 and since 1994, in Coal Center. While in Wisconsin, she was employed by Gimbel’s Department Store as a mail order clerk. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Kenneth R. Turner; one daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Kenneth Layman of Fayette City; one daughter-in-law, Patricia Turner of Antigo, Wis.; four grandchildren, Nicole Nelson, Ben Nelson, Laura Turner, all of Green Bay, Wis., and Joseph Hutchison of Moor Park, Calif.; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Leslie Turner, on Dec. 13, 2017, and a grandson, Ricky Hutchison, on Sept. 1, 2014. There will be no public visitation or funeral services.
