Elizabeth Forward senior Gabby Kite shoots in the mid-to-high 40s for the Warriors’ girls golf team and is a member of the swimming team’s relays and 50 and 100 freestyle events.

In the classroom, she sports a 4.0 grade point average and is a member of the National Honor Society.

But Kite quickly pointed to EF’s Competitive Spirit Cheer Squad’s third consecutive WPIAL title as a highlight of her scholastic career.

Elizabeth Forward was crowned WPIAL Class 2A champions Jan. 5 at Hempfield Area High School.

Not only is Kite excited about the Warriors’ WPIAL three-peat, but add an 11th place PIAA showing – out of 36 programs – in Hershey, Pa. Jan. 11, and an upcoming Feb. 8-10 trip to the ESPN Zone in Orlando, Fla. to compete in the sport’s national championship competition, to understand the total impact of the year.
