Michaels paces EF to 11th-place finish at county tourney

Ryan Michaels’ first place finish at 113 pounds helped lead Elizabeth Forward to an 11th place team finish at the Allegheny County Tournament held at Fox Chapel High School this weekend.

Michaels earned pinfall victories over Quaker Valley’s Cole White, Avonworth’s Ryan Mchirella and Hampton’s Josh Campbell to reach the finals. 

He defeated West Mifflin’s Jesse Galioto to claim the title. 

Noah Hunnell (145 pounds), Ethan Cain (182) and Nate Homa (285) each earned seventh place finishes.
