Janet D. Scott – Roscoe

Janet D. Scott, 87, of Roscoe, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, at Cambridge Hills, North Charleroi. She was born in Granville on July 16, 1931, a daughter of Edward and Helen Fitzgerald Hannen. Janet was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ, Roscoe. She is survived by her son, Kenny Scott of Donora; her daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Mark Hanak of West Brownsville; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Janet was preceded in death by her husband, John Elmer Scott, on June 27, 1993. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and seven sisters. Services will be private and interment will follow at Howe Cemetery, Long Branch. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES INC., Roscoe.
