William H. Hecklick Jr. – Monessen

William H. Hecklick Jr., 69, of Monessen, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, in Uniontown Hospital. Born Feb. 10, 1949, in Charleroi, he was the son of the late William H. Sr. and Anna Warholic Hecklick. A mechanic by trade and Catholic by faith, Bill served in the U.S. Marine Corps where he proudly served during the Vietnam War. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, William H. Hecklick III of Ben Avon and Bryan and Breanne Hecklick of Carroll Township; their son, Bryce Hecklick; and a daughter Shelly Swiantek of Donora and her daughter Alexis; a sister, Sandy and husband Joe Greco of Donora; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St. Monongahela, 724-258-6767, marshallmarrafuneralhome.com, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, with Father Michael J. Crookston officiating. Interment will be private and held in Mon-Valley Memorial park, Donora.
