Shirley Senko Tiernan, 82, of Belle Vernon, Fairhope, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, in Residence at Hilltop, Carroll Township. Born April 2, 1936, in Monessen, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Dubinsky Senko Jr. A lifelong resident of Fairhope, Mrs. Tiernan was a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Monessen. She was retired from Keystone Bakery, Belle Vernon, where she was employed as a manager. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Nick Nuccetelli of Rostraver Township; son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Cathy Tiernan of West Newton; grandchildren, Nick Joseph and wife, Sarah Nuccetelli, Kayla Nuccetelli Chaybin and husband Jim, Mark and wife Michelle Tabacca, Jocelyn Tiernan, Michael Tiernan; great-grandchildren, Amelia Nuccetelli, Paul Nuccetelli, Mia Tobacca and Josie Tobacca; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Martha Senko of Conneaut Lake; sister and brother-in-law, Deanna and Frank Monack of Belle Vernon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond “Doe” Tiernan; infant brother, Michael Senko; and great-grandson, Vincent Patrick Nuccetelli. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Panahida Service will be held at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Divine Liturgy at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Monessen, with the Rev. Stephen J. Wahal, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Rostraver Township. Condolences accepted at the funeral home’s website, www.parzynskifuneralhome.com.
