Mary Lourdes Rosick – Charleroi

Mary Lourdes Rosick, 84, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019. Born on Dec. 10, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Rita Ligon Krupka. She worked as a registered nurse before starting her family and maintained her license afterward. She was an extremely active member of her church, where she held many volunteer positions, starting with St. Jerome’s and currently at Mary, Mother of the Church. She was a member of the Christian Mothers, Ladies Ancient Orders of Hibernians, Catholic Daughters of the Americas and enjoyed playing euchre. Mary is survived by her husband, John C. Rosick Sr.; sons, James (Debora) Rosick, of Round Hill, Va., and Richard (Christine) Rosick, of Charleroi; daughters, Mary (Edward) Crum of Washington, Pa., Lynda Misra, of Upper St. Clair and Kathleen (Atul) Chaudhari of Peters Township; grandchildren, Aaron, Cole and Olivia Rosick, Samantha, Sarah, Ian and Anna Chaudhari and Nikhil and Angelina Misra; and nieces, Michelle Magiske-Treadwell of Perryopolis and Kelly Reynolds of Wexford. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, John C. Rosick Jr.; sister, Jean Magiske; and grandson, Deven Chaudhari. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20 at CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mary, Mother of the Church with interment following in Calvary Cemetery.
